Sacred Circle Dance is a weekly Ecstatic Dance held in Portland, Oregon on Sunday mornings.

What is Ecstatic Dance?

Ecstatic Dance is a form of free-style dance that is a beautiful and fun way to get in touch with oneself and community at the same time.

Our DJs mix a wide range of music to create a state of flow in our bodies – from slow and meditative, to ethnic, drums, electronic trance, hip-hop, classical and everything in between.

We hold an opening circle at the beginning to welcome the community, and invite dancers to the intention for that day, and we end with a closing circle to share our experiences of the dance.

Join us every Sunday for a light-filled morning of dance, art, and sound. Everyone is welcome – any age, any ability – to dance and be part of creating our sacred dance space.  Children of all ages are absolutely welcome in our community!

We meet every Sunday morning from 10:30am - 12:30pm.
